EMKAT S.A. steel structures are monitored from the point of reaching the agreement to the delivery of the final building. Our responsibilities are most efficiently met in strict accordance with the following procedure:

Purchasing of prime material only, followed by its mill test certificates clearly stating:

Country of origin

Chemical analysis

Mechanical properties

Proper storing in factory
- Detailed preparation of workshop drawings, thus eliminating wastage welding drawings, assembly drawings

Proper transport within production. The movement from purchasing to loading is a single-pass avoiding thus permanent defects, defects on surface or accumulated impurities.

Welding inspections

Surface treatment by sand blasting Sa 2 ½
- Surface coating with of shop primer and 2 layers of oil paint, or according to requirements, and proper storage for drying.

Labeling of steel items and uniform shipment to the site
- Proper storing in construction site avoiding loading defects
- Follow up with assembly drawings and eliminating cranes’ dead time
